Listeria can affect animals eating the product.

Healthy people infected with Listeria monocytogenes should monitor themselves for some or all of the following symptoms:
- nausea
- vomiting
- diarrhea or bloody diarrhea
- abdominal cramping
- fever

The affected Products were distributed to retail stores in the following states:
- North Carolina
- South Carolina
- Georgia
- Florida
This recall was initiated with FDA inspection and sampling of the product.
This recall is being made with the knowledge of the US Food and Drug Administration.
What to do
Consumers who have purchased the above lot of turkey for dogs are urged to stop feeding them and return products to the place of purchase for a full refund. Or dispose of them immediately.
