My goal is to help you create wellness in order to prevent illness in the lives of your pets.
This proactive approach seeks to save you and your pet from unnecessary stress and suffering by identifying and removing health obstacles even before disease occurs.
Unfortunately, most veterinarians in the United States are trained to be reactive. They wait for symptoms to occur, and often treat those symptoms without addressing the root cause.
As you read through my articles, you'll learn how to make impactful, consistent lifestyle choices to improve your pet's quality of life.
I'm looking forward to helping you make positive health changes in the lives of your pets.
I am passionate about educating people about natural health. I often speak at public seminars and have appeared on the hit show, the Animal Planet.
I am deeply honored to be named one of Chicago's Top Ten Vets, according to Chicago Magazine.
Just to give you a little more background on myself, I was born in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and I began volunteering at a local humane society at the age of 13.
Through my experiences with working with homeless, abused, and unwanted animals, I became an animal advocate.
Today, I help thousands of patients achieve wellness through my Natural Pet Animal Hospital, Feathers Bird Clinic, and TheraPaw Rehabilitation and Pain Management Clinic in Illinois.
Together with my husband, I founded the Covenant Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in 2002, which is dedicated to caring for injured and orphaned wild animals.
